Take all the favicons.

Turn any SVG into the complete modern favicon set, generated entirely in your browser.

Identity

How your site shows up when added to a home screen.

Zoom

Scale the icon inside the favicon canvas. Zoom past 100% to make your mark fill more of the square, or under to add breathing room.

100%

Corner radius

Round the corners of the icon. 0% is a square, 50% is a full circle. Works best paired with a solid background.

0%

Background

Paint a solid colour behind your icon. Keeps the SVG’s original colours intact. Perfect for multi-colour logos that need a branded backdrop.

Recolour foreground

Override every fill in your SVG with a single colour. Good for making a single-colour mark match your brand, or flattening a multi-colour SVG into a mono stamp.

PWA colours

These only kick in if someone installs your site to their home screen (a Progressive Web App). Most visitors never see them, but when they do, a matched pair makes your site feel native instead of thrown together.

  • Theme colour tints the mobile browser’s top bar and the app title bar.
  • Splash background is the solid colour shown for a split second while a home-screen app launches.

Frequently asked questions

Does Faviconry upload my SVG anywhere?

No. Every conversion happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is logged, and Faviconry has no backend that can see your file.

What files does Faviconry generate?

The modern set: favicon.svg, favicon.ico with 16, 32, and 48 pixel multi-res, favicon-96x96.png, apple-touch-icon.png at 180x180, web-app-manifest-192x192.png, web-app-manifest-512x512.png, and site.webmanifest. Every file browsers and operating systems actually use today, nothing deprecated.

How do I install the generated favicons on my site?

Unzip the download, drop every file into the public or static folder of your site, then paste the HTML snippet Faviconry gives you into the head of your pages. That is the whole setup.

Can I add a background colour or recolour my icon?

Yes. Toggle Background to paint a solid colour behind the icon while keeping the original colours intact, which is perfect for multi-colour logos. Toggle Recolour foreground to override every fill in the SVG with a single colour, good for turning a mono mark into a branded stamp. The two options are independent.

Does my SVG need to be square?

No. Non-square SVGs are padded automatically so the icon stays centred on a square canvas. Use the Zoom slider to control how tightly the content fills the square.

Is Faviconry free?

Yes. No signup, no account, no payment, no rate limit. The tool is free forever because it runs entirely on your own machine.
